Jennifer
received her BFA from Binghamton University Magna Cum Laude in 1993 and her
Master's in Museum Studies from F.I.T. in 1996. After receiving the prestigious
Polaire Weissman Fellowship, Jennifer became the Exhibition Specialist for The
Costume Institute at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Dressing and styling mannequins
for three exhibits and catalogs a year until Jennifer was confined to bedrest
during her pregnancy.
After her
daughter was born, Jennifer chose to stay home with her and create NurseryDecor.com.
Creating children's environments became Jennifer's new creative focus after
leaving the Met. Her business has gradually expanded to other residential and
commercial spaces, as MuralsbyJennifer.com. Jennifer has studied under Andrew
Lattimore both in New York and in Florence for both portrait and landscape work,
and she continues to exhibit her fine art pastels in addition to her mural work.
An exhibition is scheduled for December 2005.
